20/08/2016 Ploughing Competition. How things have changed over the years!!

Maximum temperature 24C, minimum 13C.  29 km/h SW  wind. 3mm rain measured overnight.

  3. These ploughing matches are held all over North America too. I guess there is always nostalgia for the past. But where I live there is a large community of Mennonites who eschew electricity, motorized conveyances and other aspects of modern life and always work their fields with teams of horses, so we get so see it on a regular basis.

    1. David we saw this also in Strasburg Pennsylvania when we were there with the Amish Community. Some of those new machines though are huge!!! Diane
